An honest note on text messaging
The text-back feature uses SMS, and we only turn it on once it is properly configured and compliant with carrier rules, including A2P 10DLC registration. We don't flip on texting casually — done wrong, it gets numbers blocked. Until SMS is configured, Missed-Call Recovery still captures the missed call and creates a follow-up task; the automatic text is added once compliance is in place.
